Nitchi Design is a family owned business started in 2006 that produces all of our products by hand in our Hobart workshops. Judy  started the business in 2006 producing Tasmanian Timber Products marketing them out of Salamanca Market . Slowly over the next few years the business evolved and starting to introduce other timber products that were laser cut. 

Nitchi Design is 2 small businesses , Rick produces quality Tasmanian Timber Frames , rings , wood turned bowls and Pens and Judy decorative homewares from Tasmanian Timbers. The majority of our products are available at Salamanca Market and we have retail outlets in Tasmanian and Interstate.

Our products are all made using the highest grade of solid and veneer timbers all source from local mills from Tasmania. We source all our other materials and packaging that we use from Tasmanian or Australian companies where we can.
